Obituary of Clarence Frederick Bare, “Fred”
Distinguished Fire Service Record
Clarence Frederick Bare, known simply as “Fred” or “Fred Bare” to virtually everyone passed away on February 28, 2022, in the care of Tidal Health Peninsula General Hospital in Salisbury, MD. He was 78 years old.
A private Memorial Service in his honor will be held in the Chapel at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery with his long-time special friend and cohort, Pastor Robert Hudson officiating. Military Honors will be conferred, with interment.
Friends and family are invited to gather at the Gumboro Fire Station at 1:00 PM, on Friday, March 11, 2022 for a Celebration of His Life and a Reception in honor of his many years in the fire service.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Gumboro Volunteer Fire Company, 37030 Millsboro Hwy, Millsboro, DE 19966.
