Fire Prevention at Splash
Friday, October 9, 2015
On Friday October 9th, members and staff of the Gumboro Volunteer Fire Company traveled to Splash daycare for our annual fire prevention show. Our members had the pleasure of working with the kids and teaching them the basics of the fire service, as well as teaching them the basics of what to do in case of an emergency. The children were able to walk around the trucks to see our equipment, see members do gear demos, ask any questions about what we do, and lastly paricipate in a fire truck ride. The members and staff of Station 79 would like to thank the faculty and children at the Splash Daycare for the outstanding cards they gave us, as well as allowing us to come and help with the learning of the fire service. We look forward to seeing you all again next year.
